Day 92 — One Year Fast Day 92: My Correspondence with Diana’s Office, Bosnia's Warning & Spencer's Swan Song

On August 20, 1997, a letter arrived from the Office of Diana, Princess of Wales at Kensington Palace. Just ten days prior, Diana had returned from Bosnia and Herzegovina—what would be the final humanitarian mission of her life, bringing global attention to the carnage of anti-personnel landmines. Eleven days after Jane Harris penned this reply on her behalf, Diana was killed in Paris. The letter addressed a proposal I sent to her office: a sponsored pilgrimage designed to bridge the chasm between the diverging faiths in Bosnia in the immediate shadow of war.
